Lasik Surgery
Post by:

About 12 years ago I looked into Lasik Surgery in Australia. At that time it was advised against as I was informed that I have:
1. Dry eyes
2. Thin corneas
3. Corneal Degeneration.

I have worn glasses/contact lens  for 55 years and bifocals for 15 of those years.  My vision seems to be stable for the past 12 years with little change in my prescription.

With the improvements in Lasik over the years is it likely that I would now be a candidate for surgery?

If there is a possibility I would like to make an appointment.

Kind Regards
Luanna Craig

Yes there is much improvement in Lasik operation but it's still hard to say that you can be a good candidate or not. The answer will be known only when you have the through eye examination. The most concern is your corneal degeneration. This depend on what type of degeneration you've got and how advanced of that. All of these could be another limited factor for your case. Thank you for interest in our services.
